Carmel Restaurant
Carmel Restaurant is the embodiment of timeless elegance and masterful flavors in the heart of the city, where traditional Jewish cuisine meets authentic Hungarian gastronomy. We have been serving our guests for over 30 years and have operated as a glatt kosher restaurant for nearly a decade. Alongside our enduring classics, you can also enjoy our Israeli chef’s modern reinterpretations, accompanied by live music every evening. In addition to our regular menu, we also offer Shabbat meals.
SHUK haCarmel
SHUK haCarmel is a modern, vibrant Israeli-style kosher restaurant in the heart of Budapest, where Middle Eastern flavors meet a relaxed street food atmosphere. Here you’ll find all-time favorites: smashed burgers, crispy schnitzel strips, spicy shawarma, and fresh falafel balls – always freshly prepared with an authentic Israeli taste. The market-style experience continues at our deli counter, featuring a selection of olives, hummus, spreads, and fresh salads.
Brooklyn Bagel
Whether it’s a shared brunch, a business meeting, an evening cocktail, or ordering a cake, you’ll find it all at Brooklyn Bagel! As Hungary’s only kosher bagel spot, we hold a truly unique place on the culinary scene. Our cozy interior and Danube riverside terrace ensure that every visit becomes an experience in itself. Alongside our carefully curated vegetarian selection, we offer homemade pastas, grilled salmon, and artisanal desserts.
Tel Aviv Café
Tel Aviv Café awaits you in the heart of the Jewish quarter on Kazinczy Street, bringing an authentic Israeli atmosphere and a vibrant “balagan” spirit throughout the day. Our restaurant offers dairy kosher dishes, all created by our talented Israeli chef. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you will always feel as if you’ve stepped straight into Tel Aviv. Alongside Budapest’s finest kosher pizza, we also serve freshly prepared pasta dishes, fresh fish, and vibrant seasonal salads.
Hamsza Restaurant
Hamsza Restaurant is Debrecen’s first and only kosher restaurant, featuring a modern, clean-lined interior and a fine dining concept. Here, Middle Eastern flavors and kosher gastronomy meet local culinary culture, where chef Ahron Faigen’s creative dishes offer guests a truly distinctive gastronomic experience. As a vibrant university city, Debrecen is a popular destination for many Israeli students and tourists, and it is for them (as well as for every culinary adventurer) that we created Hamsza.
